Lanta Meng’s paintings are recognized by a unique style that combines impressionism and representational quality. Many images are inspired by the serene scenes of the BC West Coast: mountains, coastal inlets, forests, lakes, and rivers. She paints from her own experience and transfers her sensitive connection to canvases. She primarily paints in oils, but she also enjoys exploring mixed media, such as: gouache, watercolors and block printing. 

She attended Emily Carr Art College and the San Franciso Academy of Art to study Fine Art. Lanta’s paintings have been exhibited in many groups shows in the lower mainland. Her artwork has been widely collected in Canada and internationally.
