Monique’s inspiration comes from life and the things that move her spiritually, and emotionally, people, places and things that she is passionate about. Monique is excited about new ideas and an empty canvas. Most days you can find her in her studio listening to inspirational music that fuels her passion to paint.

Monique was born in Vancouver BC and has lived in New Westminster since 1991. Her love for the arts started as a young girl of 5 yrs old. She started painting in the early 1980’s mostly in acrylics but quickly moved into oil. She loves texture using sand and fabric in some of her work.
