Profile
Artistic endeavours have always been a part of my life, and painting for me is a form of meditation. Inspired by the floral paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe, my current series endeavours to capture the magic in the garden and the play of light on plants and flowers. I use both acrylics, acrylic inks, and sometimes I add mixed media to keep things interesting. I love to build up layers of visual texture and colour to give depth to my work.
I completed a Fine Arts Certificate at Emily Carr University in 2012. Exhibits include Emily Carr, Vancouver Maritime Museum, Britannia Mining Museum, New West Culture Crawl, and pop-up shows at Granville Island, Anvil Centre, Burnaby Art Gallery, and Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.
