Profile
I like to sculpt and make 3-dimensional objects, I always have.
Art that occupies volume within space is amazing. As you journey around the object you experience it in a way that is unique to you; things like your height, your depth perception, and the way the light falls, all contribute to how you perceive it.
Through a variety of sculpting techniques, I use the softness of shapes and the harshness of lines to capture a moment in time. Whether it be traditional clay sculpting and casting or the progressive modern experience of sculpting in virtual reality and printing, my final goal is to make a piece of art that the viewer will want to explore with their eyes and fight the urge to reach out and touch with their hands.
