Ceci has been creating since her mother first put a needle and some embroidery thread in her hand when she was six. She started off with sewing and drawing and she’s never looked back. She’s worked for many years in fibre and was a well-known cloth-doll artist; Ceci taught stained glass techniques for the Vancouver School Board for a number of years; and now she paints, travels, paints, travels… An independent and creative person, she can paint a portrait in the morning and fix a toilet in the afternoon!
These days Ceci can be mostly found painting in oils or acrylics in either her East Vancouver or New Westminster studios. She loves to paint and has a particular attraction to portrait work, both pets and people.
Please take a look at Ceci’s work on her web-site and contact her if you are interested in a portrait, or a painting to capture a special occasion or a place.
She also offers an Introduction to Acrylic Painting for the Terrified class where raw beginners can learn and paint in a safe and supporting environment.
