The Gallery at Queen’s Park, Lower Studio 
Victoria Klassen is an abstract landscape painter who attended Emily Carr College of Art & Design and Langara Fine Arts program. She paints landscapes that re-imagine shapes and forms found in nature into new compositions. She conveys a feeling of landscape rather than a realistic representation of it so that the viewer may recognize some aspect or feeling of a landscape. Working abstractly challenges her to paint what she does not see, as opposed to painting purely representationally.
